About Go-In Centro Escola
Go-In Centro Escola was founded in 2020 in Gondomar with the goal of being a space for healing and a school of knowledge, where everyone is welcome. Founded by Daniel Azevedo — astrologer, therapist and author of the book 'O Poder És Tu' — the centre offers consultations and training in Astrology, Reiki, Aura Reading, Psychogenealogy, Regression and Family Constellation. In 2022 it became home to the Porto headquarters of the Portuguese Reiki Association. A space dedicated to personal, human and spiritual development.

1. What exactly is Reiki Level 1 and what will I learn?
A: Reiki Level 1 is the first level of initiation into this energy healing practice. Throughout the course you will learn the history and principles of Reiki, how to work with energy in yourself and others, how to do self-treatment and treatment for others, and how to understand the aura and chakras. It is the starting point for a practice that can transform your life.

2. Is prior experience or any special gift required?
A: No. Reiki is available to anyone who seeks it — regardless of experience, belief or energetic sensitivity. As Master Hawayo Takata said, 'Reiki is available to those who seek it.' The only requirement is openness and the willingness to learn.

3. How is the course structured?
A: The Reiki Level 1 course has a total duration of 12 hours, carried out over 6 months. It includes an initial class of 3.5 hours and monthly follow-up classes of 1.5 hours each — ensuring a progressive and supported integration of the practice.

4. Does the course have a certificate?
A: Yes. Upon completion of the course a Reiki Level 1 certificate is issued, recognised by the Portuguese Reiki Association — of which Go-In Centro Escola has been the Porto Nucleus since 2022.

5. After Level 1, can I continue my training?
A: Yes. Reiki has several levels of progression. After Level 1, you can advance to Level 2 — where you deepen the practice and learn to work at a distance — and subsequently to more advanced levels. Go-In Centro Escola accompanies you throughout the entire journey.

6. Can I practise Reiki on other people after this course?
A: Yes. Reiki Level 1 teaches both self-treatment and treatment for others — you can start practising on family and friends immediately after completing the course.

7. Is the course in person or online?
A: The course is in person, held at Go-In Centro Escola in Fânzeres, Gondomar.

8. How do I enrol?
