1. How long are the classes and what is the recommended frequency?
A: Classes for 6-year-olds typically last between 50 to 60 minutes to match their increased stamina and focus. A frequency of once a week is ideal for reinforcing technique and achieving consistent progress.

2. How does a class for 6-year-olds differ from the previous level?
A: At age 6, there is a greater emphasis on formal ballet technique. While still fun, classes become more structured. We introduce more complex sequences, focus on precision in the basic positions, and begin using the correct French terminology for the steps learned.

3. What are the main benefits of ballet at age 6?
A: It significantly improves posture, flexibility, and musicality. On a cognitive level, it strengthens choreographic memory, discipline, and concentration. Socially, it fosters teamwork and builds self-confidence through individual and group achievements.

4. What is the recommended uniform for this age?
A: The standard uniform consists of a leotard, tights, and full-sole ballet slippers, which provide essential support. Hair tied in a neat bun is mandatory in all classes to ensure safety and maintain the discipline of ballet.

5. Are pointe shoes used in classes for 6-year-olds?
A: No, absolutely not. Pointe work is only considered many years later, once the dancer has sufficient strength, a solid technical foundation, and their bone structure is mature enough to handle it safely.

6. What is the typical class size?
A: We maintain small class sizes to ensure each student receives personalized feedback and high-quality instruction in a safe and supportive environment.

7. Can ballet help with school performance at this age?
A: Yes, without a doubt. The discipline and concentration required in ballet often translate directly to the classroom. Memorizing choreographies improves memory skills, and the structured environment enhances a child's ability to focus on academic tasks.

8. Is a trial class available before enrollment?
A: Yes, a trial class can be scheduled, depending on availability. It's a great way for your child to experience our teaching methodology and to see our space.

9. What does the monthly fee include?
A: The monthly fee covers the scheduled classes. The annual registration and personal accident insurance are separate processes, handled at the school at the time of enrollment.

10. Is ballet suitable for both shy and very active children?
A: Yes, it is extremely beneficial for both. Shy children find a safe space for artistic expression and gain confidence. Active children learn to channel their energy constructively, improving self-regulation and focus.

11. Are there performances or showcases for this age group?
A: Yes, the school organizes showcases or presentations. They are fantastic opportunities for 6-year-olds to develop their stage presence, demonstrate their progress, and share their love for dance with family and friends.

12. What is the next step in progression after this level?
A: After completing the 6-year-old level, students advance to the 7-8 year-old class. There, they will build upon their foundation with more complex movements, longer combinations, and a deeper understanding of ballet technique.
